How can regional development drive the shift to a circular bio-based economy?

Join us for this webinar hosted by Holland Circular Hotspot, in collaboration with the provinces of Provincie Zeeland and Provincie Noord-Brabant, Wageningen University & Research, and ICLEI. This session will feature key stakeholders from Brabant and Zeeland, as well as national and international organizations who will share valuable insights from years of experience in the topic.

You can expect a deep dive into the Blueprint for a Circular Bio-Based Economy in the Delta Region — a strategic document designed to inspire regions aiming to transition towards a circular biobased economy that benefits both society and the economy. This blueprint is part of the activities of the Horizon Europe Biomodel4Regions Project.

This event will be mainly in Dutch, however, the Blueprint document being shared and a few of the discussions will be in English.

Meer weten over Holland Circular Hotspot (HCH)

Holland Circular Hotspot is a private foundation that aims to accelerate the international transition to a circular economy by connecting companies, knowledge institutes and (local) authorities, and support international collaboration and knowledge exchange on Dutch circular economy.

The Delta Region is one of six pilot regions within the Horizon Europe BioModel4Regions Project, which supports the development of innovative governance models at the local and regional levels. The project fosters better-informed decision-making, stronger social engagement, and science-policy collaboration to advance the Sustainable Development Goals.
